dōTERRA Vetiver | Vetiver Oil

Vetiver, a member of the grass family, is cultivated for many reasons. Unlike other grasses, the vetiver root system grows downward, making it ideal for preventing erosion and providing soil stabilization. Vetiver has a rich, exotic, complex aroma that is widely used in perfumes. Due to its calming, grounding scent, Vetiver is an ideal massage oil. It can also be rubbed on the feet before bedtime to create a peaceful sleeping environment.

How to Use

• Apply 2-3 drops to the nape of the neck or over the heart to experience a sense of calm and tranquility.
• Take a warm bath with a few drops of Vetiver essential oil for deep relaxation.
• Diffuse with Lavender, Serenity™, or Balance ^® for a soothing aroma.
• Use a toothpick to get the desired amount from the container if Vetiver is too thick to come out of the bottle. It goes a long way.

Application Tips

Topical use: apply one or two drops to the chosen area. Dilute with doTERRA fractionated coconut oil to minimize skin sensitivity. Aromatic use: use three to four drops in your preferred diffuser.

Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor's care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Avoid sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after applying the product.
